f  Membandingkan perbedaan struktur anatomi pada organ tumbuhan dikotil.

 

1.2.            Basic Theories

Tubuh tumbuhan tersusun atas banyak sel. Sel-sel itu pada tempat tertentu membentuk jaringan. Jaringan adalah sekelompok sel yang mempunyai struktur dan fungsi sama dan terikat oleh bahan antar sel membentuk suatu kesatuan. Contoh jaringan pada tumbuhan adalah jaringan epidermis, jaringan parenkima, dan jaringan meristem. Sekelompok jaringan yang bekerja bersama-sama melaksanakan fungsi tertentu dikenal sebagai organ, misalnya akar, batang, daun, dan bunga.

f  To know the effect of substrate concentration on the activity of catalase enzyme.

Because enzymes are specific in action, certain classes of enzymes will act on certain substrates only. For example, carbohydrases digest sugars and starches; lipases break down lipids; and proteses split up proteins.
